Album Cover Analysis

Kodaline is a great band and this album is so laid back and peaceful and has extremely meaningful lyrics, I think this comes across in their album cover - In A Perfect World.
It represents a lovely, warm, peaceful atmosphere which is very much like the music which features on this album. It doesn't feature the band on the front cover, which I think gives a nicer feel to it, as it isn't so focused on them but the words and the music they are producing which matches this picturesque image.








I LOVE this band....there music on this album is very powerful and I often feel I can relate to the music - Total Life Forever - this represents living forever, which I think can represent what is being shown on the front cover, the band being under water, shows they are living forever by being under water - a sort of supernatural feel to it. I like the way the sunlight is shining down on them underwater as well, much like their music suggests, it shows there is a sort of light in everything and represents the life which features - in Total Life Forever!

Filming Update

Yesterday (Tuesday 24th September) we filmed Ross' scene of window cleaning, we were originally going to go to Lincoln to film this scene, but then we found a perfect spot at the back of the Boarding House at school this also allowed us to use props as there were building works going out right next to it. This made our scene look much more realistic as we were able to pinch the step ladder and other props to make our scene look better.

Filming Updates

Bex filmed our first bit of filming last Thursday (12th) - she said it went really well and she got the shots we wanted as well as finishing all the scenes she needed. She felt confident using the camera and said that the actresses she was filming pulled off great parts. The only problem she had was that the bus which they used to travel on as well as film on was very crowded which may have an affect on the filming however, they managed to work there way round that finding a seat and filming what they needed.

The next part of filming is on Saturday 21st September where Kain will be filming his travel scene on the train...

Updates

Filming begins on Thursday (tomorrow) 12th September, Bex the director will begin filming with Anna and Jess in doing their jobs. Filming will continue next week when me and Kain go filming to film the office scene.

Permission



In order to do a music video we had to get permission from the band and the industry label to do so, this email i sent to the company completes this task.
