I chose to interview Sam as he is within the target audience age range, he is also interested in the genre of music we have chosen.


What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy working, spending time with my friends, party's, listening to music and sleeping.

Do you like alternative/indie rock music? Why?
I do like that genre, I like all sorts of music genres really. I love listening to particular lyrics of songs and that will determine how much I like the song, whether it is slow or fast. In terms of the genre you are doing I love how its very unique and different to all kinds of others, and the artists involved in this genre are always dedicated and genuinely passionate about music not like typical 'pop' icons who appear to be fake and in it for anything.

Who are your favourite artists/bands?
Muse, Eminem, Biffy Clyro, Imagine Dragons, Tom Odell, Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Do you have a favourite music video?Why?
I don't really have a favourite music video in particular, I prefer music videos which aren't so narrative and the characters in them just have a bit of fun and a mess around in them. 

If you could give us some advice/tips on what you would like to see in our music video which coincides with the genre, what would it be?
I would say just characters having fun, not too much drama or purposeful actions, just having a laugh, playing the instruments, seeing the band perform, cause I think that's what this genre is all about not just being cheesy and being fake, but actually loving the music and having genuine fun with it.
